    Estimate follow-ups that actually happen

You sent the quote. Then the job went to whoever followed up first. WellCheck works the follow-up list for you — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing — leaves a proper message when nobody picks up, and keeps trying on a schedule you set.

    Why quotes go quiet

Follow-up is the first thing to fall off when the crew is short and the phone is ringing. And most follow-up calls aren't answered on the first try, so it takes three or four attempts per customer to do it properly — which is exactly the work nobody has time for.

    • Quotes go out and nothing chases them; the customer books whoever called back.
    • Most calls hit voicemail, so doing it properly means calling the same list repeatedly.
    • The office is dispatching and taking inbound — outbound is what gets dropped.

    What comes back to you

Every attempt is recorded, including the ones nobody answered — which is most of them, and is the part manual follow-up never tracks.

    Who actually answered

Live answer, voicemail, or no answer — recorded per attempt. You can finally see how many touches a booked job really takes.

    Whether the message was delivered

Voicemail is detected rather than guessed at, and the configured message is left in full. Not a half-message cut off by the beep.

    The next attempt, already scheduled

No-answer doesn't mean the lead is dropped. The retry is queued on the schedule you set, without anyone remembering to do it.

A transcript when someone does talk

When the call connects you get the conversation in writing, plus whatever the customer said about timing or budget.

    Getting started

    1. Upload the follow-up list

Open estimates, past customers due for service, or a seasonal maintenance list. CSV or entered by hand.

    2. Write the voicemail message

What should be said when nobody picks up — that's the message most of your list will hear, so it's worth getting right.

    3. Set the retry schedule

How many attempts and how far apart. WellCheck works the list on that cadence and stops when someone answers or books.

    About calling customers

Calls can open with an automated-call disclosure and a keypad opt-out, and calling hours can be enforced against each customer's own time zone. Those are part of the Compliance Add-On and are off by default. Past customers and cold lists are not the same thing legally — which one you're calling is yours to determine.

    How compliance works

    Questions contractors ask

Most of my calls go to voicemail. Am I paying for those?

Barely. You pay $0.49 per live minute, and a detected voicemail with a message left runs a few seconds of billable time — the sample on this page cost 24 seconds. That's the main reason working a large follow-up list this way is affordable at all.

Will it leave a proper voicemail?

Yes. Voicemail is detected rather than assumed, and the message you configured is left in full after the beep. The sample shows detection at 1.2 seconds.

Can it handle someone who says they're busy?

Yes — it offers a callback window rather than pushing on. Being the vendor that didn't pressure someone mid-job is worth more than one salvaged call.

Can it quote a price or book the crew?

No, and deliberately not. It confirms interest, captures timing, and books a callback or appointment slot you've made available. Pricing a job is not something you want an automated call improvising.

How many times will it try?

As many attempts as you configure, on the cadence you set. It stops when the customer answers, books, or opts out.

Does it work with my field service software?

Not as a direct integration yet. Today you upload a CSV and export the results. If a specific integration is what you'd need, tell us which one — that ordering isn't decided.

Try it on a list you've given up on
